$3,250 Fine for Possessing Too Many Walleye
A British Columbia man has been fined for an offence under the Ontario Fishery Regulations.
Wayne Jensen, of Vancouver, pleaded guilty and was fined $3,250 for possessing an over-limit of walleye.
Court heard that on May 27, 2018, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry conservation officers contacted Jensen, who was travelling in a boat on the Nungesser River from a fishing lodge north of the Town of Red Lake.
$1,200 in Fines for Over-limit of Walleye
A Winnipeg man has been fined for a fishing violation.
Stuart Fengler pleaded guilty and was fined $1,200 for possessing five walleye over his legal limit.
Court heard that on July 12, 2018, conservation officers from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry conducted a fisheries inspection of Fengler, his wife and two sons while they were angling in Echo Bay, Lake of the Woods.
