Large Bay just off highway 585 North of Nipigon. This is part of the Nipigon River and current/ice conditions make travelling to far from shore unsafe. Easy access along well travelled snowmobile tracks down to lake from highway.
Lake Trout, Whitefish, Burbot

715 Colonization Road East, Fort Frances, Ontario, P9A 2S2

Whitefish Lake – shallow ice fishing for Perch, Walleye and Smallmouth Bass.

Access is via public boat launch indicated.

Lake averages just 7 feet deep. Hooking a larger fish will cloud the water so for best results after hooking a fish move 10-30 feet away and let the murky water settle.

Whitefish Lake Bathymetry and access map available for free here.
